There has been a lot of talking going around within the paranormal community of these so called 'Paranormal Certification Courses'. Please excuse this article, as this is just me, ranting and raving about these so called 'Certifications'.
There are several people out there, who are charging new teams or individuals who enter the paranormal field a big sum of money to get a so called 'Paranormal Certification'. This might just be our opinion, but if you ask most who are active within this field, there is no such thing as a 'Paranormal Certification'!
So how much are some people charging? Well, it depends on what type of 'Certification' you want. There is 'Intermediate' and there is 'Professional'. My true question is: What gives any person the right to label another person/team 'Intermediate' or 'Professional'?
To all of you newbies in the paranormal field...There is no REAL Certification for this field! There is no expert. As we've said in a previous article, there can be specialists, but, again, in our opinion, there cannot be experts. And the fact that some people are charging others for this, is beyond me. Yes, you can train people how you know things, but in the end, that person, or even that team you trained, will end up doing things their own way. So is one way better than another?
Our answer? No! The paranormal field is not an exact science. No team is better than another. I believe some teams/individuals have more experience, but I do not believe this makes them any better than anyone else. So, if you're new to this field, and you come across these so called 'Paranormal Certifications', please, disregard them. It's just a way of some person trying to get money out of the newer people.
And to those who are not paranormal investigators, and are seeking help for your unanswered questions. If you come across a team that wants to charge you to investigate, run the other way. These are not people who are investigating for the right reasons. 95% of all teams out there, all over the world, do not charge one penny for anything they do for their clients.
So, please, if you're new to this field, or are seeking help, please, do not fall for these scams. Because that's just what they are: scams!
