Member's Doppelgänger?

First off, for those who aren't too familiar with what a doppelganger is, it's supposed to be a demonic entity that takes shape of a specific person. If said person sees itself in the "doppelganger" (demonic) form, you will die that day/night. With all this being said, this experience was a very interesting beginning to a very interesting investigation ahead. Lets get started.

Let me set the scene before leaping into what happened...This took place several years ago at a location that I'd like to not name at this time. We were the first team allowed to do an investigation in years. At the time of this experience, all but one member was at the location. Now, for the layout of the location...

There were two sets of wide double glass doors on the first floor. Once you enter the building, you can see two big staircases that lead up to the second floor and also has a big balcony. If you're standing on the balcony, looking down to the first floor, you can see the two sets of wide double glass entry doors. Now that that's taken care of, let us move to what happened that night. 

Out of all of our members that were at the location at the time of this incident, all but one of us experienced this. This was due to the one member finishing camera set up throughout the building. Myself, our team members, and our host for the evening were standing at the top of the balcony waiting for our last member to arrive, which would be at any moment. All of a sudden, we see the member walk to the doors and attempt to open them, but they're locked. I mentioned to our host that's who we were waiting for. In the 20-30 seconds it took our host to walk down the stairs and get to the doors our member had vanished. Our host even walked outside of the building, walked around the building, but he had simply vanished into thin air. We all gave each other the infamous "weirded out" look. Finally, I asked another member if she could call him and ask him to come back to the front and our host would let him in. So, she made the call.

She asked him to come back to the front of the building, asked what he was doing, and where he went. He confusingly told her that he was still on his way, and would be there in about 10 minutes. She grew silent and turned white as a ghost (no pun intended). Once she ended the call we all asked her what happened. She told us and we all had the same expression, and all swore to our host that was him. He didn't seem one bit surprised by this as similar things had happened before.

Sure enough, several minutes passed when our final member arrived, wearing the exact same thing as the assumed "doppelganger" had been wearing. We explained the experience to that team member which shook him up a little bit.

So, was this a doppelganger? Or just a coincidence? I guess we'll never know. But I do know two things for sure: I never want to hear about someone seeing my doppelganger twin, and, obviously, I never want to come face to face with my doppelganger twin.

Deer…?

**Before I begin, for the purpose of this entry, I'm going to refer to deer as "deer" as this remains unexplained...**

This experience happened to my husband and me roughly 5 years ago and still has me stumped to this day…

This took place in the middle of the night. My husband and I decided to make a very late night trip to Walmart. Our local Walmart is about 5 miles away from our house. Being in a semi-small town, the streets were empty at this time of night. When we were roughly 2 miles away from Walmart, we were talking, and laughing, when all of a sudden, what appeared to be a female "deer" comes out of nowhere (about 10-20 feet in front of the car), and darts across the street into a large parking lot, causing me to slam on my brakes. Where we were at had no wooded areas around, so there was no real explanation as to why this "deer" was in that area. Only a minute passed by when I started driving again, but very slowly. We wanted to see where this "deer" went, considering there was really nowhere for it to go. As we were even with where this "deer" went, I stopped the car again, and my husband and I both looked, only to see that there was no "deer". In fact, there was no animal period. It was as if this animal had vanished. But there was nowhere for it to go, other than crashing into the few stores that were (and still are) there. With all this being said, I need to go back in time a little further…

That large parking lot where this "deer" ran into and vanished has several stores. We have talked with several people who had worked at a few of those stores. And each person told us that the store they worked at was haunted. Each person had a handful of experiences to share with us. One that sticks out in my mind is that of a Native American Chief whose apparition has appeared to many people over the years.

Is it possible that this "deer" was an apparition? Is it possible that the "deer" and the Native American Chief are linked in some way? Was this "deer" not a deer at all, and was some type of other Supernatural being? To me, this experience digs up more questions than answers. But what do you think?

Best Photo Evidence From Honey Grove Texas Investigation

I've done something similar before, so I figured I'd do it again. In this blog, you will find the best photo evidence G.P.S. uncovered while investigating a cemetery in Honey Grove, TX. Each photo will have an in-depth description with them. So, enjoy!

If you look closely, you will be able to see a figure in the tree line.

There are two things in this photo that stand out. First, in the square box, you will see what appears to be a closed fist. Within the circle, you will be able to see a figure within the trees. Also, notice the temp on this photo. That night was very hot, in the 90's. All other photos taken with this night vision camera had a temp reading in the 90's.

This is an enlarged, and cropped piece of a photo. I found this orb to be very strange. Look at the coloring, the shaping, and how it appears to be moving up.

This photo, not a lot of people see what we are seeing. Look very closely, and you'll be able to see two figures that seem to be hiding behind the tree. The figure on the right appears to have glowing eyes. Also, notice how a hand seems to be wrapped around the front of the tree.

Again, this is a photo that a lot of people argue with us about. This is enlarged, and cropped from the original photo. You can make out the head (also what looks to be a cowboy hat), shoulders, an arm, a leg. Also, notice how the left arm appears to be reaching up, leaning against the tree.

This cemetery is very active, and has been very badly disturbed by the living. Only about six tombstones remain, the rest of them have been taken. Also, the cemetery's name sign at the road has also been taken. We did research on this cemetery, and the most recent burial was in the 1920's. As you can tell from these photos, the cemetery has been badly neglected. The grass, and weeds were up to my knees, at the least. It's very saddening to see a cemetery in this bad of shape. We've investigated cemeteries that have been in bad shape, but this cemetery beats all!

The activity level seemed to start as soon as we arrived. Even when a few of us did some investigating at the main street leading to the cemetery seemed to be active. I know that while myself, and fellow G.P.S. Crew Member Deanna were investigating at the street, the feeling of being watched was very heavy. Heavier than in the cemetery.

So, why is this cemetery so active? Could it be because their resting places have been disturbed so badly? My answer is simple: Yes!
