Ghost Towns

You would be surprised at how many people do not know what Ghost Towns are. So here is a little article explaining them.

There is a big difference between what a lot of people consider Ghost Towns. Believe it or not, on a Ghost List register I found online, Arlington, Texas is considered one. And anyone who has been to Arlington know that it is FAR from being 'dead'. My opinion of a Ghost Town is a town that has a population of 40 or less, and has one or two stores (in operation, or not), with one or two cemeteries. A lot of these towns have been greatly over looked, and the historical buildings are no longer there. However, I'm pleased to say, that the Texas Historical Society has been kind enough to save some of the Ghost Town buildings, and are preserving them, as they should be.

Are all Ghost Towns Haunted? Probably not. But then again, we all have to take into consideration that most of these Ghost Towns have had a bloody past. Which is why, I think, that it's a paranormal investigator magnet. Most of us will investigate any type of location, in hopes of documenting any type of paranormal activity. So why over look Ghost Towns?

Any location can be deemed haunted. Is it the building? Maybe not. It could all be the land that's active, and not the buildings that sit on the land. Because remember, before there was a building sitting there, there was empty land.
